Військовослужбовці УДО України взяли участь у презентації та демонстрації стрілецького озброєння компанії Colt CZ Group, організованій Посольством Чеської Республіки в Україні для партнерів із сектору безпеки та оборони.

Учасники заходу ознайомилися із сучасними зразками зброї, їхніми тактико-технічними характеристиками та мали можливість випробувати їх під час практичних стрільб.

Захід був присвячений річниці операції «Антропоїд» — легендарної операції європейського руху опору в окупованій Чехословаччині під час Другої світової війни. У межах програми також відбувся спеціальний показ фільму «Антропоїд», що розповідає про підготовку та проведення замаху на Рейнхарда Гейдріха. Операцію проти нацистського режиму спланувало та здійснило чеське підпілля у співпраці та за підтримки Великої Британії.

Подібні заходи дають можливість ознайомитися із сучасними рішеннями у секторі безпеки та оборони, обмінятися досвідом із партнерами й нагадують про урок, який не втратив актуальності й сьогодні: демократії мають діяти спільно перед обличчям зла. Кожне відкладене рішення та кожна поступка агресору зрештою обертаються новими жертвами.

Servicemen of the Department of State Protection of Ukraine took part in the presentation and demonstration of small arms by Colt CZ Group, organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine for partners from the security and defense sector.

Participants of the event were introduced to modern weapons systems and their tactical and technical characteristics, and had the opportunity to test them during practical shooting sessions.

The event was dedicated to the anniversary of Operation Anthropoid — a legendary operation of the European resistance movement in occupied Czechoslovakia during the Second World War. Within the program, a special screening of the film Anthropoid was also held, which tells the story of the planning and execution of the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. The operation against the Nazi regime was planned and carried out by the Czech underground resistance, in cooperation with and with the assistance of the United Kingdom.

Such events provide an opportunity to become familiar with modern solutions in the security and defense sector, exchange experience with partners, and serve as a reminder of a lesson that remains relevant today: democracies must act together in the face of evil. Every delayed decision and every concession to an aggressor ultimately leads to new victims.
